Good news! Malta to scrap COVID-19 entry restrictions from 25th July
As from Monday 25th July onwards, all travellers entering Malta will no longer be required to present their COVID vaccine certificate, proof of recovery, or a negative test upon arrival. This measure will also apply to unvaccinated travellers.
Although cases are currently on the rise around Europe, Malta has decided to do away with entry requirements. According to the Health Ministry, this decision was based on recommendations made at EU (European Union) level.
Anyone aged over 60 years of age is currently being offered a second booster dose, in accordance with the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).
