WE ARE OPEN FOR FACE TO FACE LESSONS FOR FULLY VACCINATED STUDENTS

Your Social Experience

Make friends and practise English with other language learners through our weekly leisure programme.

You can either choose from our ESE organised activities which are included in our weekly ESE leisure programme, or ask one of Leisure Team members for advice about other activities you may wish to book.

Adult Leisure Social Programme

When creating your leisure package, our Leisure Staff focus on offering you a balanced mix of the following:

  • cultural excursions
  • visits to places of historical importance
  • exciting leisure activities.

We offer activities for different kinds of people. For example, if you are looking for adventure and prefer some of our extreme sports. Moreover, whether you’re a culture vulture preferring guided tours around Malta’s historical sites and visits to museums. ESE guarantees that our leaders will look after you along the way.

We believe that your social programme is an integral part of a successful language learning experience. Social activities bring non-English speaking people of different nationalities and cultures together. They also provide you with the perfect opportunity to practise speaking English in a relaxed and informal environment.

Students who have booked a language course with ESE can check our Student Zone which gives a detailed overview of upcoming events and activities.

If you would like to learn more, email us study@ese-edu.com. Furthermore, upon your study holiday in Malta, please ask our staff at the ESE Leisure Desk.

Your Orientation Walk

On your first day you are invited to attend an informative orientation walk. Your tour guide will show you Paceville area, make you familiar with the location of bus stops and taxi stands. They will also show you the location of banks, the post office, and pharmacies and give useful information. As you stroll through the streets of Paceville, there will be some handy tips offered about which restaurants in the area offer good value for money, which tend to be more expensive and which establishments serve fast food. You are welcome to ask our guide for any other information you may require.

Your Welcome Evening & Optional Valletta Tour

During the first week of your English course, you are invited to an ESE evening activity to meet other students and some of our staff members. Light refreshments are served.

Whilst in Malta, you may also choose to join other ESE organised activities, namely a half day guided tour of Valletta – Malta’s Capital City.  Valletta was officially recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980 and was described as “a city of palaces built by gentlemen for gentlemen” by Sir Walter Scott. The Valletta tour has lots for you to marvel at as we will visit (external viewing) the Palace of the Grandmasters, now used as the President’s Palace and St John’s Co-Cathedral. The Valletta bastions offer spectacular views of the Grand Harbour, one of the finest harbours in Europe.
