Leisure Office Assistant (NEW)

We are seeking to recruit an Office Assistant to join our Leisure Department on a full time basis.

The duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Administrative and office duties
  • Dealing with guides/suppliers/transport
  • Preparing activity reports for tours.
  • Booking of transport/suppliers for groups. 

Ideally you would have:

  • strong organisational skills
  • an outgoing personality and leadership skills
  • a professional approach
  • the ability to work under pressure

Qualifications / Experience

  • Possess excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact in a courteous, positive and professional manner with students.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office
  • Be in possession of a valid driver’s licence.
  • Available to work weekends and on Public Holidays

Housekeeping (NEW)

List of duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain level of cleanliness in rooms as well as other housekeeping duties at the school and residences of the Claret Group of Companies in accordance with the Company’s quality standards.
  • Clean areas and rooms assigned on daily shift
  • Deal with all general enquiries directed to the Housekeeping Department and to maintain an adequate record of such enquiries;
  • Make a conscientious effort to be a team player and to present a professional appearance at all times
  • Maintain clear and adequate records of work done and to produce reports on work programmes and activities as required by Management;
  • Perform cleaning tasks as and when required at the hotel and schools of the company as may be directed by management from time to time.
  • Follow instructions as relayed by management or superiors and also communicate any difficulties.

Maintenance Personnel (NEW)

ESE is looking to recruit Maintenance personnel on Full Time basis.

 

Candidates will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager/Senior Management.

A list of tasks will include but are not restricted to:

•  Upkeep and maintenance of the school’s property 

•  Ability to identify and analyse maintenance problems     

• Should be customer oriented and be able to deal with student queries.

• Must be flexible and adaptable to the school’s needs. 

• Must be organised and works in a timely fashion. 

• Repair and maintain any maintenance issues at the school and in the accommodation and public areas

• Must be hands on and able to solve problems efficiently and effectively

Excellent Communication in English is a must. Previous experience in a maintenance role is a must and would be considered an asset.

Reservations Executive (NEW)

We are seeking to recruit a Reservations Executive to join our Reservations Department on a full time basis

 

As a front-of-house representative of the School, you will assist clients with their booking requirements.  You will provide strong customer service skills and be able to work on your own initiative to foster and maintain an effective business relationship with existing clients and agents. The job includes answering inquiries, offering advice, and addressing concerns or issues.

 

You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian and preferably speak one or more of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French or other European language.

 

The candidate will therefore be extremely responsible, with excellent organisational & communication skills, highly adept in team work, and able to handle sensitive data in a tactful and confidential manner.

 

Qualifications / Experience

  • Experience of assisting in the day-to-day operations of a reservations team.
  • Customer service orientated 
  • Possess excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact in a courteous, positive and professional manner with students and agents.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce and MS Office Tools.

In-house training will be provided, however knowledge of the Amadeus system and previous experience in sales and reservations in the Tourism, and/or English Language Industry will be considered an asset.

Group Leaders

ESE is seeking to recruit Residence and Activity group leaders on a full / part time basis to join our dynamic team. As part of a team you will be expected to take care of the ESE international students following one of the ESE programmes.

 

The duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Accompany the ESE Teen and Junior students at the Residence and during activities;
  • Interact with ESE students;
  • Handle welfare related matters as they arise;
  • Promote and participate in the ESE leisure programme;
  • Coordinate and assist in student arrivals and departures at the Residence;
  • Supervise Teen & Junior students;
  • Coordinate with other members of the team in respect to transport.

EFL Teachers

  • Minimum Academic Certification – TEFL + TELT / English A’ level
  • Be in possession of a valid EFL teaching permit issued by the Malta ELT Council
