50+ Programme

The 50+ programme is designed for mature students who wish to study exclusively with other like-minded students and of a similar age. It is based on ‘Everyday English’ teaching mature students useful phrases and functional language for travel and everyday situations.

Programme structure
This programme combines classroom tuition with a stimulating, cultural and social activity programme. Activities are carefully selected to combine cultural tours of various interesting places in Malta exhibiting the rich Maltese culture, cuisine and history which spans over 7,000 years. By following this course, you improve your general level of English, learn key vocabulary, functional and situational English phrases which will enable you to communicate easier in English anywhere in the world. Our teachers set up purposely-designed communicative activities to give you maximum opportunities to practise with other mature individuals. The course offers 20 lessons per week of 45 minutes each. Lessons are held every morning. Activities may be in the afternoon following lessons or in the evening giving some free time for relaxing or doing your own thing. If you like, you can also benefit from our self-study ESE e-Learning programme from the time you enrol in your English language course until three months after you finish your course.Accommodation
Students enrolled in this programme can stay at any accommodation of their choosing. There are lots of options offered by ESE from Host Family, ESE Residence within ESE school to selected hotels. However, it is highly recommended that all students stay in hotels for their own convenience, comfort, value for money as well as ease of organisation.
