50+ English programme at ESE – Learning for Life
Learning for Life
No matter how young or old we are, we never stop learning.
Here at ESE we really believe in ‘Learning for Life’. That’s why we offer English language courses for all ages and for every stage in a person’s life. From our young learners, juniors and teens, young adults, academic courses, courses for business and work, courses for 30+ students to our 50+ English programme, – there is a course for everyone!
Our students range from as young as 8 years old to 50+ and beyond.
Our most mature student to date was over 90 years old, which proves that you are never to old to learn!
English Language courses for mature students
Do you want to take an English language course but are worried about being the oldest student in the class? Are you looking for a General English course where your classmates are of a similar age to yourself? Are you aged 50 years or over?
If so, ESE’s 50+ programme is the right course for you!
50+ General English Classes
This course is designed with the mature learner in mind.
The course is delivered at a more leisurely pace, allowing you to develop fluency in a causal and informal classroom environment.
Focusing on ‘Everyday English’, topics include the language you need in everyday real life situations. This course allows you to improve your general level of English over all four of the core language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Students are given a placement test to determine their English level and are placed in classes accordingly. The placement test can be taken either on-line at least 2 weeks prior to arrival or at our school on the first day of classes.
50 Plus and Fabulous!
