This course is available at our sister school ETI within the ESE school building.
General English 30+ is designed specifically for adult students in the 30 plus age bracket. The course is delivered at ESE’s sister school, ETI, within the same ESE school building. ETI is an accredited member of Quality English and IALC.
ETI – Executive Training Institute, offers the perfect setting to adult students who would like to learn and improve their English in a professional and exclusive environment with other like-minded students.
This course is for those learners who need to improve on their Fluency and speak more easily and confidently in English . The course is run at all levels and participants are allocated to the group/ class at their respective level of English. This course is mainly offered for trainees coming over for not more than 1-3 weeks.
All ETI classrooms are outfitted with the latest technology in Smart Boards. In addition, classes are smaller with an average of 5-6 trainees at same level per group ( maximum of 10 students per level / class) offering more personal attention and opportunity for more interaction between the trainees and their trainer.

GE 30 – 30 lessons / week (22.5 hrs)
This course offers 30 lessons per week with each lesson being 45 minutes long. Lessons will focus on improving your accuracy, fluency and confidence in your use of the English language. You will have the opportunity to refresh your knowledge of grammar and put it into practice, refine your pronunciation and broaden your vocabulary. Additionally, you will develop all your core language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and improve your general level of English. By the end of your course you can expect to be a more confident, accurate and fluent user of English.
You can continue to improve your English through self-study by accessing our ETI e-Learning programme from the time you enrol until three months after you finish your course. The e-Learning is included in the course price for all ETI students.

The timetable on the right is a typical schedule for this course. However, students should arrive at ESE and ETI at 8:15 on their first day of school.

Mornings 4 lessons
Afternoons no lessons
20 lessons per week, recommended for anyone who wants to improve their English in a class with students from all over the world at the same English level. This is a popular course with students who need to brush up their English in a short period (1 -3 weeks) or to really improve their English to higher levels at ESE for a long period (4 – 24 weeks) but with more free time.
General English 30
Mornings 4 lessons
Afternoons 2 lessons
30 lessons per week, recommended for anyone who wants or needs to dedicate more time to learning English. More lessons means faster progress in improving your English level. Morning lessons are similar to GE 20 lessons whilst afternoon lessons are more flexible and tend to be more conversational according to the students’ needs and requirements.
Intensive English
Mornings 4 lessons
Afternoons One-to-one tuition
30 lessons per week, recommended for anyone who wants to combine group lessons with one-to-one lessons. This course is very popular with students who want or need to improve their English in a shorter period of time (1 – 3 weeks). It is also popular with students who have a well defined learning goal and who need that personal attention and tuition by a professional teacher.
If you prefer to combine a General English group course with one-to-one tuition while learning English, then the Intensive (General English) option is for you.
When booking the Intensive option, you follow group lessons in the morning and have the opportunity to practise and improve your fluency with other English language learners of the same language level. In the afternoon, you benefit from one-to-one individual attention from your teacher. During this lesson, you can ask your teacher to focus on any area of language you like or simply take the opportunity to practise more speaking on a one-to-one basis. Our academic staff ensures that you follow the course at the right language level for you.

What is your level of English?
Don’t worry – we’ll figure that out for you. Before arrival you must do the ESE online placement test, which must be submitted at least 7 days before you start your course. If you do not manage to do your test from home, then you will be will asked to sit for a short placement test on your first day at school. Our academic staff will ensure that you follow your course at the right language level for you.
