If you are studying English in Malta with ESE – European School of English, St. Patrick’s Day is one of the most exciting events you can experience during your stay on the island.
Every year on 17 March, thousands of locals, international students and visitors gather in St. Julian’s, especially around Spinola Bay, to celebrate one of the biggest street parties in Malta. Even though it is not an official public holiday, the atmosphere is unforgettable, with music, green outfits, outdoor bars and an incredible international crowd enjoying the celebration together.
For students learning English in Malta, it’s also a fantastic opportunity to meet people from around the world, practise English in a social environment, and experience Maltese nightlife and culture.
