1. Festi in Malta – every weekend
Where: Across localities in Malta
Each town or village has its own feast dedicated to its patron saint, and these feasts often take place between May and September.
The main events of each ‘festa’ include religious processions, band marches, firework displays, community gatherings as well as stalls selling traditional and fast food.
Our favourite is the St. Julian’s ‘festa’ which will be held on the 31tst of August this year.
2. Earth Garden 2026 - Malta’s Alternative Festival Gem – June 2025
Where: Ta’ Qali National Park
Held every June in Ta’ Qali National Park, Earth Garden is Malta’s top alternative music festival. With five eclectic stages, a mix of live bands and electronic acts, beach parties, boat cruises, and wellness workshops, it offers four days of pure festival magic.

The Farsons Beer Festival is one of the most exciting summer events, drawing thousands of festivalgoers every night. Now in its 44th edition, this free outdoor festival combines local live music, entertainment for both adults and children, and food stalls from various cuisines at Ta’ Qali National Park’s picnic area.

10. Delicata Classic Wine Festival August 2026. Valletta & Gozo
Where: Valletta & Nadur, Gozo
The annual Delicata Classic Wine Festival is Malta’s grandest celebration of its local wine. As usual, it will take place at the scenic Upper Barrakka Gardens in the capital city, Valletta over three days in August as well as in Nadur, Gozo later in the month. Festivities throughout the evening include live music, food, and of course, wine.
Entrance is free. Wine coins can be purchased at the event itself.
