Teacher Development Courses
NILE and ESE are providing an extensive range of face-to-face courses for teachers, trainers and language education professionals, covering all aspects of methodology and skills from primary and secondary education to trainer development.

All our teacher training courses are eligible for funding under Erasmus+. They have been designed around the main aims and objectives of the EU Lifelong Learning Programme.
NILE and ESE
Both NILE and ESE are members of EAQUALS ( European Association for Quality Language Services). In addition, both organisations have almost 30 years experience of ELT in Malta and in England. Sharing the same ethos it seems natural for ESE and NILE to form a partnership to extend NILE teacher development programmes in Malta in 2021.
NILE was the first institute to be accredited by the British Council for the provision of teacher development courses and all its accredited courses qualify for Erasmus+ funding. The training programmes in Malta are delivered and overseen by NILE trainers who all have extensive experience of designing and delivering courses for teachers, as well as of teaching English.
ESE is a member of the Claret Group of companies in Malta. It has more than ten years experience of delivering teacher training CPD programmes.

NILE- ESE ‘s teacher in-service training and development programmes address the needs of teachers and individuals working in the education sector. Our courses are experiential and hands-on, and use multimedia and technology.
All of our short CPD (Continuing Professional Development) courses (1 – 2 weeks) are eligible for funding under the Erasmus + programme.

What is Erasmus+ funding?
- Erasmus+ funding helps to cover course fees, travel costs, accommodation and other living costs and preparation costs for individuals and groups of teachers and trainers who wish to travel abroad for professional development courses. All NILE- ESE courses in Malta eligible for Erasmus+ funding.
- This covers teachers and trainers from the European Union and from Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey and the Republic of Macedonia.

Departure transfers optional at €30.00.
Courses are run once the minimum enrolments are registered. Applicants may be advised to move to different sessions once the minimum number of applicants is not reached.
These courses may be run as closed groups on other dates during the year.
