Welcome to the ESE Student Zone.  Here you can find useful information about what to expect during your stay at ESE in Malta.

 

The ESE Student Zone aims to provide you with all the information you will need from the day you book your English language course till the day you return home.  Log in to do your Placement Test, access our e-Learning programme or find out more about the school and the island of Malta.

Arrival

On arrival at the Malta International Airport, you will be greeted in the public area of the Arrivals Lounge by a member of the ESE staff. Please look for the ESE logo to the left as you enter into the Arrivals Lounge.

Our ESE rep will give you a Welcome Pack which includes a Welcome letter with details of your course and accommodation, a map of Malta, a map of the ESE area, a temporary student card, a first week questionnaire and discount tokens to a number of establishments in Malta. The Welcome Letter will also indicate the time  you are expected at school on your first day.

For any EMERGENCY information regarding transfers, flight delays or cancellations students may call the emergency telephone numbers below.   We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to offer you assistance on any of our services.

Your placement test

The Placement test is available to all ESE students and can either be done on line at least 14 days before the course start date or on your first day at ESE.  To do your test on line you will need a username and password which are sent to you by your agent or ESE, depending on who you book your course with.  Visit our placement test page for more information.

 

ESE e-Learning

ESE e-Learning is offered to all ESE adult and group students and is available for FREE for three months from course start date.

The ESE e-Learning is an online learning system and study portal.  A personal Study Plan adapts to the pace and capability of individuals and lessons expose you, the student, to a range of relevant and authentic online material.  By following this Study Plan on line you may start practising and learning English for three months from course start date. You can get extra practice during school and can follow your Study Plan from the comfort of your home.  The ESE e-Learning is a support tool directing you to the right material, giving access to supplementary learning sessions whenever you want and wherever you happen to be.

You may also purchase additional time after this period of free access to ESE e-Learning.

Your username and password are the same as those required to do your placement test.
